President, Matt Calkins

Matt Calkins is the President & CEO of Appian Corporation, one of the most dynamic software companies in Northern Virginia. Based in Reston, Appian automates processes for hundreds of government agencies and companies around the world. Matt also serves on the board of MicroStrategy, a public software firm based in Tyson’s Corner. Matt lives in Great Falls in the Dranesville District with his wife and two children.

Secretary, Carl Sell

Carl L. Sell, Jr. has been a Fairfax County taxpayer for more than 40 years. Currently president of the Rose Hill Civic Association, he is a former chairman of the County Park Authority and 20-year member of the Planning Commission. He lives in Lee District.

Doug Boulter

Doug Boulter is retired from the U.S. Army and is involved in various civic activities. He was President of the Virginia Hills Citizens Association from 2000-2006 and 2008-2010. He lives in Lee District.

Steve DelBianco

Steve DelBianco is a technology entrepreneur and lobbyist for e-commerce and economic development issues in Virginia and on Capitol Hill. For over a decade, Steve was a community leader in the central Fairfax community of Mantua, where he dealt with development and traffic issues, along with the infamous Pickett Road tank farm controversy. Steve currently resides in McLean and was an officer of the McLean Citizens Association. He lives in Dranesville District.

Dan Rinzel

Daniel F. Rinzel is a partner with the law firm of Redmon, Peyton & Braswell, LLP. He was previously Chief Counsel for the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the United States Senate and Deputy Assistant Attorney General with the U.S. Department of Justice. He has served as a Member of the Virginia Attorney General's Task Force on Gangs and Youth Violence. He is past Chairman of the Board of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce and past President of the Mount Vernon Civic Association. He lives in Mount Vernon District.
